Data processing & Modeling
The “Data processing & Modeling” platform provides methodological and logistical support for project design, studies feasibility, data acquisition, handling, and processing. The team comprises physicists and engineers with extensive experience in programming, statistics, mathematical modeling, and data analysis. We have experience with various types of data, including PET (different radiotracers), MRI (functional, structural, diffusion, quantitative), CT, EEG.
Software tools and procedures for data analysis are typically implemented using Matlab or Python environments. Our team routinely uses several public and private software packages, including SPM, FreeSurfer, AFNI, PMOD, FSL, and can provide advice and assistance with these tools.
Location
The team is located in building B30
Access
The platform offers its services and expertise to all researchers from public and private institutions. Use of the platform’s services is contingent upon presenting a research project to the responsible Principal Investigator (PI). Fees depend on the contribution of the GIGA-IVI staff members.
